"This is a lovely cabin surrounded by trees in a peaceful environment. It is convenient to Jasper, AL and therefore it is a short drive to Bankhead National Forest, 20 minutes to Clear Creek Recreation Area, 30 minutes to Smith Lake, 1 hour to Birmingham, and 1.5 to Tuscaloosa. "Our stay here was perfect! From the creek to the upstairs porch watching the moonrise- we enjoyed every minute. We spent time exploring the property, cooked in the kitchen, and ate dinner outside in the wonderful weather each night. During our stay, I also explored the local national forest and hiked in Bankshead. We also went to Tallulah Brewing in Jasper- great dog friendly spot! The hosts of this property clearly care and it is obvious in the cleanliness of the home. I can't wait to return...

"4 nights was perfect getaway! Property is very peaceful (especially in late October) with no one else around. Road in is long and dusty so be prepared to dust off or keep belongings in the vehicle. Recommend a SUV or truck s the last little stretch of road is rough. Overall we highly recommend!"
