Michael, the caretaker, met us at no one is how are you gonna get in? check-in and the owners ensured we were happy with our stay. "If you value privacy and respect this is NOT the place for you. The Good: our family thoroughly enjoyed the Arenal area. Los Lagos was great for kids and adults. Hot springs,water slides and lunch, all for 100 bucks US. It’s a must visit. The area is gorgeous, if you have an extra couple of days it’s a great way to end your trip before flying home.The bad: This is ALL true. We arrive at 7 pm, told not to use AC unless all windows are closed, some windows are impossible to close because they...

"El sitio es muy bonito y cada día ves a un oso perezoso y ranitas en el jardín. Lo único malo es que en la habitación hay muchos insectos y no sale agua caliente en la ducha. El desayuno fue muy escaso (1 tostada partida por la mitad, una rodaja de tomate partido por la mitad y 1 huevo batido, y café..) nos quedamos con hambre. Los propietarios son muy agradables y cada día te localizaban al oso perezoso."
