"The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —...

"The property and experience were unforgettable. It all started with the most hospitable and helpful host, Emel. He made us feel welcome and even helped us get pizza delivery to the glamping tent. The tent is immaculate and the perfect window to the amazing greens and blues that mark the gorgeous horizon. The bathrooms and showers were flawless and kept you integrated with nature. "Hotel was in a great location. The staff was so warm, welcoming and friendly. We never needed a thing. I loved all the hot spring pools and jacuzzis. This is a safe , beautiful hotel. The only improvement that I could even think of would be the lighting in the room. It was very dim and very hard to apply makeup in the bathroom. Maybe a lighted mirror would help. "
