Simple beauty in El Paso
The location of the house had a view of the mountains. It was located in a safe, quiet area and had ample room for everyone. It included a complete kitchen, dining , room, and breakfast nook. It was clean and welcoming. Thank you to Elizabeth for helping me to be able to check in later in the day.

What could have been
The host was nice and communicative. Unfortunately, there were issues immediately uncovered and put a damper on our exciting 5 day trip. Here is a summary of the issues encountered: 1) The pool was dirty so had to contact host and she had her pool guy come out and clean it for use. Ultimately, this was THE best part of the property after being cleaned as got a lot of use. 2) Not enough pool towels for the house - Host immediately took care of and provided additional ones. 3) The central air conditioning in the house was not properly working. We read this note in a previous review months prior and incorrectly assumed it would have been fixed. The AC was registering a consistent 75-82 degrees in the house. The host contacted her AC guy and he just chalked it up to being "normal" so it never got fixed even after we discovered that all the vents throughout the house were closed. 4) One hand towel in house so had to use bath and paper towels. 5) Only 1 ceiling fan in the house was working. 6) Fridge water/ice dispenser on door was not working. The freezer was also leaking on the kitchen floor. 7) Water pressure in the house was very low. 8) The listing was not recently updated as some of the furniture shown was different than in actuality. 9) This is the grossest one....there were 2 COCKROACHES found in the kitchen & dining room. This property COULD be a gem with some improvement work but, based on the above, it requires a lot more TLC.

Sad, old, broken house
The house is older and needs maintenance. The kitchen doors/drawers need to be repaired, light fixtures don't work and the A/C was out. We also found a roach on our last day. Felt like the Motel 6 of the VRBO world. Review would not let me include colleagues as guests with me. It was a work trip.

This property was perfect for our family! It was large enough for us all to stay under one roof! It provided all the entertainment we needed! We had a couple small hiccups but the property manager was always right on any needs we had with a fix! Will for sure stay again if we visit ElPaso again!

Broken and missing tiles in the bathrooms, ceiling fan in master doesn’t work without the light on, no window shade on door to backyard from master. Trip hazards in backyard and kitchen. Insufficient silverware in kitchen, furniture not as depicted in photos. Broken plastic trim on windows in patio door. Knobs on cabinet doors and drawers in kitchen were grimy and sticky. Broken patio chair in backyard.

Amazing Place!
The house was everything we could have asked for! Beds were comfy, spacious rooms and plenty of eating or sitting areas. The backyard was a tropical oasis. We felt like we were in Florida. The owner was very nice and responsive. We most definitely would recommend this home and will be returning.

Our stay at this home was truly wonderful. The star was definitely the hostess Elizabeth who did everything she could to make our family get together perfect. The pool was beautiful, the home comfortable and nicely furnished, everything was really great and the family had such a memorable time together. Thank you so much for a truly special time.
