"Great place to stay before or after air travel or whatever brings you to Liberia. Guanacaste can be very hot and traveling takes a lot out of you. It’s nice to stay somewhere so clean and comfortable and well air conditioned before continuing on for further travels. The hotel bar/restaurant is quite good. We ended up spending several hours there enjoying the food and drinks. "

"We loved our stay at this condo. We ended our stay here and were looking to relax. This place fit the bill. It was a short, if a little steep, walk to the beach. A few times we were the only people on the beach. At its busiest it was never crowded. We hit the markets and took advantage of the well stocked kitchen. Father roosters was great for the occasional drink or dinner. The facilities pools were very nice. All the things you might want for the beach is provided. We had a great stay and highly recommend this if you are looking for a nice clean and quiet beach."

"The team members are phenomenal. Friendly, accommodating and helpful. They really are what makes the experience. The room was spacious and the shower was *chefs kiss*. The activities around the pool and nightly shows were a blast. It is a hilly property so they have carts to pick you up and take you to your destination if you don't want to be hiking everywhere. Great gym. The only issue we had was the wait times for dinner if you don't want to do the buffet. It’s first come, first serve but the wait was always 1 1/2 - 2 hours, even the day we showed up at 6:02 for service that started at 6 pm (this was after being told we couldn’t put our names on the list af 5:50 so we grabbed a drink and came back.) Overall, it was a great experience."

"Our experience at the hotel was great ! Everyone was very friendly always helping us and making sure we are taken care of. They also offer plenty of activities to do in the hotel and dining options as well as buffet were great. "

"We returned to Costa Rica for our babymoon after vacationing in the Arenal Volcano region for our honeymoon. Would definitely recommend this resort. It was our first time visiting a Riu, and we loved the grounds, the staff was great, and there were a good number of selections for food. Some reviews mention the lounge chair availability at the beach, but we had no problem getting spots down there. It is a few minute walk from the pool and restaurant area, but we enjoyed being able to enjoy a relaxing environment on the beach which was always less crowded. There is staff that will set up lounge chairs for you and servers do come down for drinks as well. Overall positive experience and would stay here again next time."
