"Overall, you get a lot for your money with breakfast included. Sleeping in a tent is obviously very simple accomondation which we expected but what really surprised us was the loud people around us making noise until 3 in the morning. For a place like this we really expected some peace and quiet and at least a rule that says that it should be quiet after a certain time. Its really a shame that this ruined our nights here so we had to leave one day earlier. The owner payed us back for that night...
"A stay at the Vue Grand Hilltop is a wonderful experience. As the name suggests you'll enjoy great views over the neighboring islands and you can actually watch the sunrise from your bed. All the bungalows are built in traditional style, all wood and with great natural ventilation. Not having air-con was never a problem.
But it's not only about the views, it's also about the person who built and runs the hotel. Michael welcomes you like a long lost friend and there is a good chance you'll...
"Absolutely peaceful. Cabins are very comfortable. With the nice breeze blowing through, i slept very well. The staff, the food and the place is very accommodating. Highly recommended."
"I called the hotel several times on the arrival date but no answer, we end up getting a different hotel.
And this is a really really bad experience in the middle of no where."
"We absolutely loved our stay at Focus rooms. The bed was comfortable, air con was great and room was very clean. We would absolutely be back and would refer this to any future traveller. Manu the manager was also very helpful and friendly. "
"A mountain side resort with stunning views! The location is close to the town center and nearby tourist attractions. The nearest beach (Vanilla Beach) is around 10-15 minutes from the property. We had a great time in Karuna because of the staff and their hospitality. "
"A really beautiful accomodation with so much space and amenities that you need. The service is impeccable and everyone is friendly and willing to help you. We loved our time at Bahay Artisano and would recommend to others. "

We used Elsa's travel and she had the most incredible crew which include lucky as the tour guide and you could do amazing private tours and they will take you to the places that are less crowded and then hit the spots you want to see after the big crush of the tours are gone.

The hostel is a little far out but don't let you put that off as its right next to Vanilla beach which is lovely and you can see the glorious sunset which isn't visible in most areas of El Nido due to the landscape. Rent a scooter from town 1/2 price

We loved El Nido, although it is more touristy than other destinations in the country. Staying in Corong Corong beach helped to escape the crowds and was just a short trycicle drive to town.

It has its own small town charm. Our hotel could benefit from an outdoor rinsing/shower station. The locals were very sweet and friendly. I just wished there were more Filipino-owned establishments.

This was my 2nd visit to El Nido and will definitely return. Tours A is the best but they're all breathtaking, really. All tours can be purchased in the lobby.

El Nido, would love to have had more time to explore the area and try some of the other water sports! Will have to come back.
"I wanted to share a few suggestions that may help enhance the overall experience for guests, especially those staying for multiple nights or who prefer non-water activities.
While island hopping and hiking are wonderful offerings, incorporating additional on-site and land-based experiences can provide more variety and engagement. Some recommendations include:
Non-Water On-Site Activities:
• Pool Table / Billiards – Great for indoor entertainment during the evenings or rainy days.
• Board Games & Card Sets – Readily available in the common lounge or for borrowing.
• Foosball, Air Hockey, or Darts
• Mini Library or Book Exchange Corner
• Outdoor Movie Nights – Weekly or bi-weekly events can be a nice touch.
• Local Cooking Classes or Cultural Demonstrations – Allow guests to immerse themselves in the local lifestyle.
• Live Acoustic Music Nights – Especially during weekends or peak seasons.
Land Tour Suggestions:
• Cultural Village Visits – Showcase the local way of life, crafts, and traditions.
• Farm or Garden Tours – If applicable, offer a chance to learn about local agriculture or herbal plants.
• Scenic ATV or E-bike Rides – Explore nearby hills, forests, or viewpoints.
• Sunset Viewing Spots – Organize land trips to the best sunset spots with refreshments.
• Local Food Tours – Partner with nearby eateries or markets to offer guided tasting experiences.
Adding even just a few of these could make a big difference in keeping guests entertained, especially dur"
"Mansion Buenavista was perfect for our family of four. Coffee and hot chocolate was over flowing, breakfast was scrumptious and delicious, close to everything you need and Noud, the owner was just a fantastic host. With his staff and crew, they treat us with all warmth and out most hospitality. Our room is very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend it. They even gave us breakfast To Go because of our early flight to our next destination in our family vacation. What a wonderful experience for our family. "
"Karuna has breathtaking views, simply beautiful. Dining in their restaurant is an experience itself, the food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and attentive, a wonderful reminder of how proud I am to be of Filipino heritage. The service is very professional and prompt. The pathways have an inline since it’s located in the mountain so if you are unable to physically walk up and down it may not be suitable but if you have no physical limitations then look no further, this place will be amazing!"
"Amazing place, perfect combination of resort and nature. Most amazing customer service, world class. From the time you arrive at the airport in Lio, up to the time you board the plane from Lio airport, the team is focused on providing a seamless experience. Highly recommended. "
"I enjoyed staying here, the view was amazing and the place was just unique. Breakfast was one of my favorite things about this place, stuff is very respectful, friendly and welcoming. "
