"Spent a week at La Chirita for a bird-watching holiday as a couple in our early 60's. The cottage is on the rustic side, but contains everything that you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday. The jewel in the crown is the location amongst the trees, in the foothills of the pinebelt, with a large, private, wild 'garden' full of native plants/flowers, and birds - canaries dominate, but there are also flyby's of both local pigeons, amongst other endemics. "Delightful small house in the middle of a large garden. Lots of space both inside and out. Although it's only a few metres from the main road it's very peaceful. Comfortable bed, well equipped. Susana, the host is very helpful and has good English. She also provided some very welcome food including wine, coffee, bread, butter, water, cheese and ham."

"La comunicación con José fue muy buena desde el principio. Él fue muy antento a nuestra llegada y siempre contestando nuestras inquietudes. La habitación muy limpia y el baño también. La locación es perfecta para descansar y sentir la tranquilidad de la isla. El único punto, en la página de FeWo dice que la propiedad cuenta con Shampoo y jabón, pero no es así. Tampoco hay un Jacuzzi, como está escrito en FeWo. Pd: Para llegar a la propiedad, hay que subir calles muy empinadas."

"The property is just as the pictures indicate. A quiet and relaxing place to stay. The one concern I would raise is parking. While the area where the house is located is very quiet the other part of the village is filled with tourists all day long. While we were there the moment we left our parking space it was taken immediately. We made sure we didn’t return to the village till late afternoon when we could again find a parking spot."

"This is a very well cared for villa in a great spot just outside La Orotava. It is located in a beautiful garden, very secluded and quiet. The villa is well equipped and comfortable. The pool is a good size for swimming. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. We would recommend this villa to anyone!"
