Very handy short drive into the pretty village with some small supermarkets which stocked all the essentials you will need for your stay. "There was seven in our party and We stayed for 10 fantastic days. The outside space and pool area are lovely and have multiple seating areas, the pool area did not have lights but this allowed for some impressive star gazing and did not stop us using the pool until late into the evening. "This is a nice small rustic country house that is suitable for a small group. I wouldn't have more than 6-8. The furnishings (linens, towels, and beds) need updating - it was like visiting my grandmother's house when I was a kid, when she hasn't bought new linens since 1950. As this home is next to an active cow farm, there are a lot of flies outside. Not able to have a meal out there but it is a beautiful setting. The host is very friendly."

"This property is beyond what you see in the pictures. It was spectacular. The views can not be captured in photos. The property owner Aurora met us there and was so kind. "Pasamos un fin de semana donde nos coincidió con el belén viviente y recomiendo visitar el pueblo, estaba súper bonito y puedes ir andando desde la casa, quizás la subida es algo más cansada por la cuesta pero igualmente se hace, en la casa lo único que ecahmos de menos es algo más de calefacción, excepto la chimenea del salón, en el resto de habitaciones se pasa frio en invierno, hay una chimenea en el salón de arriba pero no se podía poner. "We thoroughly enjoyed our week in El Gastor. The house was as pictured, though unfortunately it was unseasonably cold so we could not use the pool. Instead, we got to enjoy a fire most nights! The view across the valley is gorgeous, and the mountain peak just behind the house is also beautiful. We visited Olvera, Grazalema, Zahara, Setinil de las Bodegas, and Ronda; all nearby and easily accessible by car.
