"Hidden down a dirt road awaits a rural escape. This was a great place to stay, comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. The location is only a 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Our Host responses were prompt and we highly recommend."

"I am so fortunate to have found this beautiful piece of paradise! The entire property is absolutely breathtaking and I spent lots of time just looking at the view from my front porch. The house is brand new and spotless, and you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into every detail. I really enjoyed the tour of the dairy farm and the opportunity to see the milking process. The owners are always readily available but still give you lots of privacy. I did not have a car, but Jessica...

"This place was stunning. Really wish we could have had more time here. The trails were beautiful. The rooms were stunning. Staff was awesome and the spa was really a unique and peaceful place. It is a walk though from place to place but the staff is happy to help with their golf carts and very accommodating. We were fine to walk but just noting for people with mobility issues. If you’re fine to use there services i still think this is a gem worth staying at. "

"The hotel has the most amazing view of the volcano. Our room was on a corner in which we were able to see the sunrise and volcano. The hot springs are amazing and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and had many items to choose from. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean. Very close to downtown La Fortuna. "

"The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I booked a massage right before they were closing and was thus able to enjoy a very peaceful and amazing massage. I also forgot my swimwear at the pool and they were sweet to keep it and I was able to collect it later when I remembered haha."

"We had a wonderful stay at El Silencio. It is very clean, everyone was very kind and helpful. The service was wonderful and so was the food. We loved the farm and visiting all the animals every day. The hot springs private pools were perfect and we enjoyed privacy and quiet time. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again. "
