La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. It’s not super fancy, so don’t expect the four seasons, but it’s a great place to stay, highly recommend. "

"We stayed a week at a Helgafell suite in the beginning of November. The suite was in two floors with a sundeck on roof. Modern interior, 2 BR, 2 bath and one toilet. The house in located in the Allegra gated community, pools in the area (not heated). Everything worked well, friendly and helpful host. Parking in the community area and street parking available. Good internet. Grocery stores within walking distance, restaurants, pubs and other stores in the town."

"The stay was very much to our satisfaction. On the good sides, perfect location. You wont get more central to Alicante than this. Apartment was clean and has plenty of room (in our case we were 3 person and occupied the bedrooms, leaving living room available for hanging out.) It seems like people who are not authorized use this complex to access the beach. The restaurant at the property is top notch and should not be missed. "
