"Food was exceptional. The all inclusive concept has limitations that if you’re used to all inclusive in the Caribbean or even at Paradisus brand it would make nervous…this would make me mark them down especially for the price point paid. Overall a wonderful experience. Love Crete….visited 3 hotels over 11 days but would try another A.I hotel on our next visit as we will certainly be back. "

"The property was superbly postioned... Just steps from the sea... The owners were very welcoming to me which was reassuring as i was staying alone. My room was airy and spacious. The decor and furnishing was slightly dated but did not bother me as it was very clean. The bathroom was small and could do with modernising the shower but it was adequate. I think they should advertise the cost of the air conditioning as for some €7 a night may eat into their spending money if on a budget.

"5 star undeniably amazing. This is an excellent but very expensive property and the dining options are impeccable. We have traveled as Hyatt globalists and by far--- this could be the best we think this could be the best in CRETE. Bravo! Eleni in the dining management is stellar. Incredible. The sushi restaurant- do it. Do the half board option and for sure -- the drink option. Hands down. Love the fact very few Americans- even though I am American. Have them arrange for your transfer from airport. This is an immaculate property. Get the private pool and I think garden view for a more private. "
"What an amazing hotel this was, booked two rooms with a sharing pool and they were amazing, I called the hotel to see if they could make sure we got rooms next to each other, they sorted that for us, what a treat to have our own pool. The breakfast was great, loads of choice. The spa was wonderful, had a salt scrub and olive oil massage, very relaxing indeed! All in all we had an amazing stay! "This was a 1 night stay prior to a longer booking, in a basic room. I was also here last year. Don’t be scared of a solo trip, the people are fantastic and you will be made to feel very welcome and not alone.
The guests are hit and miss, some are a bit rowdy, some doing photo shoots the whole time but it’s easy to find some quiet space. Most are couples in their 30s. The rooms are soundproofed, I stayed on a top floor and couldn’t hear any neighbours which was a relief, food is fantastic but large portions. All inclusive is a must so that you can relax and let the wonderful people bring you drinks and snacks. I had a wonderful massage to start my trip, and a meal in the lovely Greek restaurant.
Outside gym has some really cool equipment.
I think the resort is non smoking, which is a relief as many Greek people smoke (there are mostly English people here), there are a lot of vapers.
I travel to 5 star hotels for work, and I cannot say enough good things about the staff here, they are without exception friendly and helpful and in a resort like this, they make the difference between a 5 star trip and a less decent holiday. I will definitely return next year. I also stayed in the grand bungalow which was easily the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I’d advise anyone to book a swim up room at least, to avoid sunbed wars at the pool. "

And that's because it was worth the money during the time we were there.
Although it's not a 5 star hotel and even an old one with an all inclusive service that is still stuck in time... At the same time, you can enjoy the service that the hotel offers both in terms of food, rooms and service.
The food - needs improvement! Both in terms of quality and in terms of serving. You can at least upgrade the way of serving to be more respectable!
The rooms - different types, some are small, but comfortable. You can always improve with new mattresses and even an air conditioner or refrigerator that makes noise at night.
The service - this is actually the strong point of the place!
It makes up for everything else... The staff at the reception is amazing, attentive and respectful of every question and request. The waiters in the restaurant and the Kissaot bar are always smiling and available for any question or request.
Overall, I would recommend everyone to come, especially the apartments and the attitude!
