"We ( two of us) enjoyed Hotel Barcelona Center throughout our six day stay. The hotel is centrally located in a residential neighborhood with excellent metro connections and walking distance to many nice restaurants and cafes. The carrer de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia are close. It is less touristic than other areas. Our spacious room was air conditioned, very quiet (ours was on floor 5 overlooking the courtyard), with good blackout curtains. The staff was friendly and helpful (and multilingual.) The rooftop terrace was nice with great views. We would definitely stay here again."
