"Fantastic hotel! Lakeside does not mean lake view and the light in the bathroom is not adequate for applying makeup, but the service is great and there are lots of great things to do in the area. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The pools and sauna area were lovely and the bathrobes and pool bag were a nice touch. The Haldensee is an easy walk from the hotel. On the high end for cost, but a nice vacation retreat for friends and families. "

"We stayed in this property just for 2 nights, but got amazingly lucky in that when midnight hit on NYE, we were treated to a birds eye view of what felt like everyone in Garmisch-Partenkirchen shooting up fireworks all around us. From the balcony we sat as a family and took it all in. What a fun surprise! The property is right on the historic walking and shopping street. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything was clean, modern but cozy, and comfortable."

Great room, great service, great location.

"We had a great stay. The bathroom had an unusual layout. It worked for us but may not be for everyone. Check the photos before reserving. The hotel is in the heart of the town, with plenty of restaurants nearby, although the hotel restaurant is also excellent. Their breakfast buffet is one of the best ice ever had. "
