"A genuine old Dutch rowhouse with a few rooms (with baths) up a flight of very steep stairs. Very quaint and comfortable. Convenient to the Anne Frank House, great restaurants and shopping, and a block from the tram that goes to the museum plaza and the central train station, if you don’t feel like walking. Some outside noise if you’re in the front room. Someone will carry your luggage up and down the steep staircase for you, but don’t reserve if you have difficulty walking or climbing. "

"My adult daughter and I recently spent 5 nights at this property. It was a lovely spot, very clean, bright, and private. It was a 20 minute walk to the train station, or a 7 minute walk to catch the bus/train. Download the "City Mapper" app to help you navigate getting around. There is a grocery store near by, and the apartment has a refrigerator, stove top, and microwave to conveniently make meals/snacks if you wish. "The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "
