The area was quiet and the home was lovely with added amenities My friend slept upstairs and I slept downstairs on the couch. The couch was a little hard for me to sleep on but a really good size. "Unfortunately the house has seen better times, the flooring is in a bad state of of repair, sockets hanging of the walls and what looks like telephone cables loose and not connected, luckily we did not have young children with us otherwise I would have said unsafe. There was no heating or hot water in the property and whilst the host offered to get someone in on the 2nd night there was still no hot water which meant the family had to find alternatives. "Defo worth the money "

"A fairly priced stay. Advertised as sleeping ten, we were eight and it felt a bit of a squeeze having just the one toilet (the listing said two). The downstairs basement room was fine for us but you do need to keep the dehumidifier running or it smells damp. The stairs to the basement need care and attention too. Aside from the basement room, the space is lovely and just what we needed, especially the large dining table. The owner is helpful, responsive and accommodating :-)"
