"Great location in a modern hotel with good facilities"

"If you have forgotten what great service in a traditional hotel is like come to the Hotel Continental. Everyone from the front desk to the dining room could not be more kind and helpful. When I mentioned that we were going to the floating sauna on the Oslo fjord, Anna at the front desk offered to have towels and water ready when we left. So thoughtful and made a big difference at the sauna. She also offered a room upgrade without my asking. Similarly the hostess in the breakfast room could not have been more pleasant and helpful. BTW the breakfast was among the best I’ve had in any first class hotel anywhere. All in all it was a great stay that significantly added to our stay in Oslo. "

"Great hotel in the middle of Oslo. Very central location, within walking distance if all the sights, and a stones throw from the harbour. Easy check in and check out processes. My only criticism is that my room faced inwards onto a courtyard (no sunlight or ability to see the weather outside), and I was unable to open the window, so room was a little stuffy. Otherwise a great experience! "

"Oslo has a tram stop near the hotel. A person has to walk uphill for at least a kilometer with their luggage. Besides that, hotel felt luxury. Dinner wasn't cheap, but it was the best dinner buffet I have had is Oslo."
