"A very individual style of accommodation. A beautifully kept original home. All the rooms are very different so read the descriptions. Breakfast was served round a huge table- oryou could eat on the veranda or in a separate room. David was very welcoming. An excellent cheap bus service into the city, about 3 minute walk away. "

The only improvements I would offer is to have coffee in the private suite and less air freshener throughout. "

The owner was engaging, helpful and also a wonderful chef. "When I checked in I was told Expedia made a mistake and the king with a hot tub that I paid for was not correct and our room did not include a hot tub. If we wanted the room with a hot tub it would be an extra $75.00 on top of the $206.00 I paid Expedia"

"We had a lovely Christmas stay with 11 family members. The house set the stage for our family Christmas gathering. We were in constant awe of the architectureand details of this historical home. The rooms were comfortably stated & 1 for every one (7 rooms). The hosts were very accommodating and generous with their home. "1. Show and mention all the stairs that are in the house. One of the kids fell down one flight. We had to follow them everywhere. 2. Put a street sign showing the way to the front door. 3. Front stairs were slippery and mossy. We had to use the back stairs. That's why we needed them repaired that day. 4. Hobbit door in front is for show only. 5. Bedrooms need something to hang clothes on, maybe hooks. We had wedding clothes with us and no place to hang them.(flower room and another bedroom) 6....
