"Really lovely hotel - excellent quality, with superb rooms with aircon and The White Company toiletries in the en-suite. Great breakfast, and lovely friendly staff. The only downside to this hotel is that they charge guests £6 to park, and also £15 per guest to use the swimming pool! Crazy when the rooms cost £160 per night. Come on KPH - don’t let yourself down on these points when otherwise the stay is top class. Where else really do you expect your guests to park? Otherwise, a great stay."

"We had our baby shower at the orangery and it was perfect. We stayed over with a group of friends after and loved the spa pool and dining outside in the restaurant in the evening "

"Easy and efficient check-in. Friendly professional receptionist. Good sized rooms and well equipped. Only negative I can mention was our evening dining experience. Stood for at least 10 minutes waiting to be seated which was hard for my elderly father and as we were only people waiting. All young waiting and bar staff who seemed quite inexperienced. Poor knowledge of the menu, brought out the wrong wine . Were friendly and trying hard, maybe they were short staffed but food wasn't as good as expected for the prices they are charging. I was a chef for 20 years and was disappointed with the lamb. Quite chewy and vegetables were swimming in water. 75 quid for 2 mains and cheapest bottle of wine. Wouldn't go back for dinner but hotel was very good . "

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we would definately stay again. Car park and outside area does not do the actual hotel justice."
