Very spacious and kuchen well equipped. The only thing I couldn't find were kitchen scissors so used a knife instead. Fixtures and fittings were high quality. Separate shower with a choice of overhead or hold shower head to rinse. Many fire doors to open /close within the apartment, so a bit noisy if trying to move about while someone was sleeping. Staff very helpful, gave us an early check in and assistance with our luggage.

The garden apt. was of a good size with good facilities. The bedrooms were large with large en suites. The apt. isneeding a bit of attention - frayed carpet, outside door requires painting, the underfloor heating & towel rail in one of the shower rooms did not work - or we could not get it to work. Will use again

Magnifique résidence proche du centre

Amazing Self-Catering Residence

My partner and I stayed here for a night for her birthday and we our expectations were exceeded. The property is on what appears to be a residential building with some private residences. The residence itself is a one bedroom apartment equipped with all standard amenities (including dishwasher) and extras (coffee maker), a mini bar (water, beer, whiskey, sodas) and complimentary welcome bottle of wine (we got a white wine which we swapped with a red from the mini bar which my partner preferred). There is breakfast available which is good to have; unfortunately these is a continental, uncooked (fruit, cereals, etc.) option only and we'd have preferred a cooked breakfast. Overall we'd give the residence a 9/10 and we'd recommend it to anyone. Whilst we stayed for only one night it's really the king of place more suited for longer stays of, perhaps, 3 nights and longer. I booked it about two days before our stay so it was comparatively more expensive for what we got (the cost is reflected in the standard and amenities at the property) so do book well ahead! Overall verdict, give it a try if only once especially for that special weekend away.

A roomy apartment that felt like home almost instantly! The staff are attentive to every request and the breakfast was delivered on time with delicious food. ( croissants were wonderful!) Be prepared to climb stairs. And the location involves some walking to get to the City Center. ( good exercise for all) Just a wonderful trip! Thank you Chester Residence!

Great place to stay. Minor maintenance required.

We stayed in an amazing apartment. We booked the two bedroom that was located on ground floor just under reception. Only comments would be the mattress in the room closest to back of apartment next to kitchen needs to be replaced. The mattress is sagging and very uncomfortable. Other item was that bathroom in bedroom closest to street side. The shower water ran under glass wall due to seal not properly seated. This caused the bath floor. To accumulate water and did not drain properly. The hotel staff was amazing. The bar is great. The location is excellent. Maintenance on sleeping comfort and bathrooms is required. Also, pillows were all heavy and hard. A variety of pillows or at least one soft pillow for back sleeping would have been ideal.

This is the third time we’ve stayed here. Very quiet, intimate and home from home. Very pleasant staff and excellent continental breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re lucky enough to get a room.
