Stay right in the heart of Edinburgh just off the Royal Mile in this newly decorated and super central apartment. This bright and cosy apartment is situated in the perfect location for your trip - right next to The Royal Mile, Scottish Parliament and overlooking Arthur Seat park. The beautiful Holyrood park is just a short 2 minute walk away and offers a wonderful recluse from the bustling city life - you will feel almost as if you were in the Highlands, whilst staying in the city centre!

Location was great. Apartment entry a bit shabby and could be cleaner. Apartment itself needed some updating. It is smaller than expected. It was a fine visit but just average.

Hadh everything we needed including some basics like coffee, teas and creamer for easy first day. Very clean and great location for the Royalty Mile, we walked everywhere and easy fast, train to send half a day in St. Andrew's highly recommend it!!

The property is well equipped and is well furnished. Heating is adequate and offstreet parking a bonus. Great location just a few minutes walk from Canongate and the Royal Mile. 2 good restaurants just opposite as well as a Tesco mini. Convoluted description of how to enter the property could be simplified.

Great place and great location. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. Easy walk to the Royal Mile. We traveled light, and just walked to the VRBO from the train station.

This property was clean and well equipped and the lacation could not have been better. The beds were super comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good. Would have liked a coffee machine but the Tesco arround the corner had good coffee so not the end of the world.

Accommodations were spacious and homey. Kitchen had everything you would need and living area was a nice place to relax after long days. Easy walking to everything we did in Old Town. Would highly recommend.

Great location - walkable to several points of interest and any public transport/bus tours. The property was clean, spacious and the instructions for check in/out very easy to follow. Would seriously consider staying here again for a future trip. Had a question for the host who was very gracious and fast in responding as well.

Perfect little spot close to everything

We enjoyed our stay in thin little Edinburgh apartment. It was an easy walk to most of the sites on our list of things to see, but far enough away to allow you to leave the crowds behind. It was a great place to start and stop our days.

Travel amidst the University of Edinburgh

Easy to access and park. Central to the Royal Mile and environs. Property manager was quick to respond to broken washer/dryer and replaced it in less than 12 hours with a new one. Comfortable beds and good linen..

Great flat, Great location BUT NO ELEVATOR

Flat and location were great but the listing said Elevator and the elevator has apparently not been working for quite some time according to the residents we spoke with. They actually laughed when we asked about the elevator. We had to climb 7 flights of 6-8 stairs each with our large luggage. I hurt my back. I have a video should VRBO be interested. When I asked about the elevator, the owner went silent. Check the comms. However, they had just answered my question about the WIFI minutes before I asked if they were aware of the elevator not working. Then, when I as a respectful guest informed the owner of when we were leaving and how we left the flat, they finally responded and said they had a virus and that's why they hadn't responded. They claimed not to know about the elevator and blamed their handyman. I'm sorry, that is just hard to believe. They got a virus and couldn't respond in the 5 minutes between my 2 questions? To make matters worse, VRBO was IMPOSSIBLE to reach from Scotland. They provide an 800 number which is useless overseas. They need to make it easier to report a listing like this that promises something- like an elevator- and doesn't provide it. Also, the dirty sock in the far corner of the second bedroom validates the cleanliness rating. Other than that, flat was clean.

Beautiful self catering unit

Very cosy, neat and clean. The apartment served all our needs perfectly. Checkin information was not timeously explained and needs better attention. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is well equipped and ideally located.

Great location and comfy stay!

Had a great stay, place was clean and easy to find. Location was fantastic and such a great price for where you were, everywhere was a walk away! Host was really responsive and helpful. Would stay again!

Awesome location, property needs a bit of TLC

Location for the Royal Mile, Holyrood House, Christmas Market and Princess stree was very good. We walked everywhere. The property is in a block of flats on the second floor, nothing hears from the other flats. Some maintenance required but not horrendous. Shower average temperature and fan noisy. Bedding clean and fresh. Warm flat. Would we return.... Yes. Large Tesco express seconds away.
