"Gorgeous setting, Welcoming Atmosphere. Innkeeper so hospitable , provided references for resturants. Stunning interiors, The waiter at breakfast was such a joy.Attended to so many sweet details in serving the breakfast.Such a cultured, knowledgeable and friendly conversationalist. I’m wanting to go back for another meal. A darling historical inn. I have referred all my friends."

"We liked the location of the property and especially the breakfast. Our room was very nice and spacious; however, the bathroom was extremely small and outdated with no counter space or hooks."

Walk to Downtown: Historic Home in Edenton’s Heart

"You have to keep in mind that this is an historical property—stairs are steep, lighting is dim in some of the rooms because of the high ceilings — but that is what gives it the immense charm. You almost feel as though you are stepping back in time. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and the beds were very comfy. Entire house was very clean. The host provided some nice amenities upon our arrival and communication was great throughout our stay. The walk downtown was so convenient."

"Great views, great host, beautiful carriage house. Edenton is a lovely quiet town with a lot of history. Locals are very friendly. 2 story carriage house was very well decorated and stocked. Host allows you to use the front porch of the main house to enjoy the view with your morning coffee and evening wine."

"An amazing property! If you want a memorable stay in Edenton, with a short walk downtown and a lovely, pet-friendly home, then this is your spot! We absolutely loved everything about it! From the amazing host, Nicole, to a super easy check-in, to the spotless house with an awesome backyard extra cottage, this place made our weekend special! I highly recommend this place to anyone!"
