"A peaceful, private cottage with a lovely countryside feel. Nice sitting area under the shade as well as full sun lounging area. The fig trees were alive with birds and butterflies eating the ripe fruits, on our visit mid-September. Everything we needed was provided, with good kitchen facilities and a comfortable lounge/reading area. Vero has a local bar but seems to be only open in summer months; the Post Office(located in Town Hall) does not provide stamps for the UK. Nearest supermarket is...

"The views are breathtaking, and the villa is comfortable, both inside and in the pool/deck area. We had to purchase some amenities; the heated pool was not heated and it was too chilly to swim. The roads leading up to the villa are treacherous; drivers must be very confident! It was quite a drive to get to a grocery store, more than ten minutes. We loved the place and the gorgeous views but could not give a five star rating for these reasons--"

"We had a fantastic week in this pretty little house. The location is fabulous - located near a little river but so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were welcoming and helpful and we loved being there. It has great views across the valley and just around the corner from a pretty little village. There are all the basic amenities for a stay away - we would definitely consider going back again."

"Fantastic property. The location and views need to be seen to be believed. The host is welcoming and helpful and everything needed for your stay is included. We had such a great time and did not want to leave. Amazing sandy beach with shallow water for kids swimming less than 5 minutes drive away and a couple of the local restaurants, including one within walking distance very good. Cannot recommend highly enough, and would definitely love to return."

"Group of friends from Toronto enjoyed our paradise stay in this amazing seaside villa. Spectacular sunsets, pool facility and beach. Water is crystal clear and weather in September was fabulous. The property does not have WiFi as advertised which may not be an issue for other European guests but yet another reason why Brexit is rubbish is that UK visitors have to pay extortionate roaming fees. "The hotel is very nice with renovated, modern rooms, very clean. The staff has been extremely helpful and nice. It has a nice pool and very good parking options (garage) which was very convenient! The location is OK (close to the sea shore – we had a room with sea view: nice) but not overwhelming. It's about 20 min by foot from the city center. There are no (good) restaurants very close (unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday when the internal restaurant was closed). We took the car to the railroad station (where there is a nice parking), a 5 min ride, and had dinner in the port/station area. If the location doesn't matter I can highly recommend this hotel!"
