"Zuerst bekamen wir ein Standard Zimmer nach langem Marsch in einem Annex Gebäude in der 2.Etage exakt gegenüber lauten Bauarbeiten am neuen Lift, der deshalb natürlich nicht funktionierte. Nach einer kurzen Intervention an der Rezeption wurde uns dann schließlich ein etwas besseres Zimmer im Vorderhaus zugeteilt, mit dem wir auch sehr zufrieden waren. Das Gepäck, dass wir mühsam in den 2.Stock geschleppt hatten, wurde uns von einem freundlichen jungen Mann ins neue Zimmer gebracht. Das Zimmer hatte eine kleine Kaffeemaschine aber leider keinen Kühlschrank. Das Auto parkte gegen Gebühr in einer Tiefgarage direkt am Hotel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und lies keine Wünsche offen."

"The hotel was conveniently located near old town which made everything relatively walkable. Room was very nice! Buffet breakfast was excellent & reasonably priced-great start to the day!! Staff was very helpful & could speak English. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!"

"It's a lovely clean and bright studio in the heart of Bayreuth, a 15 minute walk from the train station and less than a minute from the colourful and lively Maximilianstraße. If you're prepared to self-cater (and the local supermarkets are excellent), then it's a bargain. What stops it from my giving 5 stars? Not much. The apartment can get very hot, although a fan is provided. A separate receptacle for recycling would be welcome, as would a dustpan and brush for daily cleaning and instructions for how to use the hob cooker. Hghly recommended."
