"The location is quite remote, meaning it’s easy to get by car and a bit more complicated by train. But that’s what I wanted. The rooms are excellent. New and smell fresh wood. Mine had a little kitchen with all the cups, plates and forks. Breakfast - traditional German, no problems. Good coffee and fresh eggs. Very quite. Maybe the only disadvantage is that it’s hard to reserve it and price is a bit high, but it’s so worth it. "

"Our guesthouse apartment (#5, top floor) was very nicely built. clean, and spacious. It is right in the center of the small town of Alpbach. Overall - a lovely place to stay but you need to know about the parking, laundry, etc. The booking info on Orbitz said there was free breakfast and underground parking. Neither was true. "Very nicely located, slightly elevated above Jochberg which provided great views in all directions. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and very helpful in directing us to exquisite dining in the area, including their excellent restaurant. The pool and spa was enjoyed as well.
