"Good for the property working to put new mattresses in the rooms but stacking them all over in the hallways and side rooms is not a plus especially when i paid over 400/ night. That and barely getting a cup of coffee in the morning. Negotiating the parking lot around all of the people who are obviously living there long term was less than ideal. Room was very small but clean. "

"Stephanie is absolutely delightful! Wonderful knowledge of the community and the history of Oaklawn Inn and Menominee in general. This is a charming and thoughtful bed-and-breakfast. Speaking of breakfast… it was great! A special bonus is the large wraparound screen porch with lots of comfortable seating. We will be back in September and we’re going to book now. "

"A bit older place but in the midst of upgrading. A lot of boxes and stuff around. Staff was very nice. Beds and couch in room were very hard. Room was clean and a nice size."

"Wonderful house near the Mississippi River! Highly recommend! Plenty of space for a small or larger group. Host checked in to make sure everything was good. Very responsive to questions. "

"Rooms were clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was good, eggs seemed like they were from a powdered mix. Coffee was excellent."

"The room was clean, but none of the switches worked for the 3 lamps even though they had switches. It was all wired to the main wall light switch for the room. So 5 bright lamps or no lights at all were the only two options. The toilet made weird loud screeching noises with every flush. There were patches of white unpainted wall that were very noticeable due to the blue paint everywhere else. The hot tub was a good temperature and not overly chemical smelling but there's no directional nozzles on the jets, so water is launched up at your face. Since the bench seat is so low, that means hot water splashing in your eyes and mouth. The pool was supervised and over run with teenagers cannonballing into it. The floor drains cannot keep up with that constant barrage of water and the whole floor was submerged in 3" of standing water, making leaving the area slippery and unsafe. The tap water isn't safe to drink, but they did provide stations for filtered water. The doors don't swing shut on their own, you have to pull your room door shut."

"Wonderful hosts. The most comfortable beds! The views are breathtaking. Deer on the property! House was stocked with everything you could think of! The fireplace inside was our absolute favorite part. I would recommend this house 10/10 for any group setting!!! Fully stocked game room and the tv was SO easy to navigate. We wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you so much, Rob!!!"
