"The lobby and restaurants are nice, up to date. The hallways and rooms need TLC. The hallway carpet has a terrible old, musty smell and the rooms/bathrooms were not the cleanest I’ve seen (hair pins left on floor) but the staff was very helpful, very friendly and the location to NEC is ok except for the rats. The walkway leaving the hotel may be full of trees but we saw no less than 2 rats during the day every time we walked the path."

"We stayed here for one night to attend a concert at the Aviva Arena. Online check in and check out was very convenient and easy. The room was lovely; clean, comfortable with everything we needed for a short stay. Staff at Guest Relations, Reception and in the Bar were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you."

"As always another great stay. Made to feel welcome by all the staff I had contact with. Room was spotless and bed very comfy. Breakfast was tasty and hot and a good choice of items. Again, the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for the casino with decent food Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel."

"A lovely reception, with friendly staff and lemon water / cranberry water on arrival. Parking is on street and paid during the day (this wasnt made clear on the booking but explained well at reception). Room was lovely, spacious, well equipped, comfy bed, modern and clean. Breakfast was good, Gluten free options and efficient, friendly service."

"Clean room but very dated. Was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel. The room was hotter than the sun so had to sleep with the window open. Also found the latch to lock the window was broken so could be easily opened from the outside anyway. I used the leisure facilities which were good but also dated. I didn’t eat in the hotel but did have a drink at the bar. The staff were really friendly and helpful and a perfect location for the NEC (15min walk)"
