"A comfortable, very well equipped property; we were lucky with the weather, so outside space was welcome, and again comfortable. The owner was very quick to respond to a slight problem with the heating. The property is central to Whitstable, and close too to Tankerton. Parking is a bonus. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."

"We had a lovely 6 days, shell cottage has every-thing you will need and spotless. The cottage is close to town, harbour, and sea, perfect for us oldies. The only things that were missing we thought was a nonslip mat for inside the bath and a grab rail by the bath, I had trouble getting out, made worse by husband laughing. We all recommend the cottage. Thank-you. "

"I recently stayed at this house with friends and family. In total, we were 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 1-15 years old. It is a very big and comfortable house. It is in need of some TLC, the decoration is old but that is shown in the photos and reflected in the price. The heated indoor pool was amazing and saved our holiday as it was raining most days we were there. There were also many inflatables in the pool which was a nice touch. "We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available. Communication was great, checkin was easy as we were met and handed keys. The house was clean, tidy and welcoming with local wine left for us. We had the most relaxing stay and really enjoyed...

"This property is just amazing. Full of character and charm and so very well suited to the large group that we were. From under 2’s to grandparents in their 80’s, it was spot on Offering high chairs, potty’s, travel cots and plastic child friendly plates etc, as well as swings and garden toys, our great niece and nephew were very well catered for The house is full of nooks and crannies, so it was easy to find a quiet spot to sit and read or have forty winks! And what can we say about that...

"Tina was a perfect host and dealt with any queries immediately. The bungalow is fantastic and we loved the decor. We really enjoyed the little extras such as the giant chess and retro games tablen and were grateful for the cupcakes and seed bombs on arrival. I highly recommended this property and would happily stay there again."

"The property is spacious and has lovely views. The location is quiet with plenty to do within a short drive. Communication with the host was disappointing as no messages were answered and there is no BBQ on site, despite it being listed in the property details. Something to be aware of for future guests-the floorboards are extremely noisy and all movement can be heard throughout the house."
