"Room clean and spacious staff very friendly"

"The room was clean but a bit dated and the shower cubicle was much to small, the staff were brilliant and the food was the best we have had in a hotel and the portions were very big. Aylsham itself is a lovely village."

"I booked a room but all night there were banging doors outside my room as the main corridor door was right next to my room. I was also near the hotel entrance where there was a lot of banging. So not a great night sleep!"

"The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The room service young lady was lovely. However that’s all the positives. Negatives. We had already paid an agency but were asked to provide credit card details on a piece of paper, just unsafe as anyone could access it when stored in an office. The staff took umbrage when I pointed out how wrong this was. No details then no stay, we had no option. The small car park was not marked so it was a free for all. "Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Very friendly and courteous. Room was spacious and had air conditioning which was a welcome addition as we were there during a heatwave! We found the bed very hard and most uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean and with nice toiletries. I cannot recommend the food. The menu is quite small. The food is poorly prepared. My husband had chilli con carne which was clearly microwaved and quite bland. I had a Caesar salad which I could not eat as it was...
