"A beautiful, historic hotel smack-dab in the middle of Salem, walkable to shops, dining, ghost tours, Witch Museum(s), and what-have-you. Very easy, free parking directly adjacent. Excellent breakfast, professional desk staff. People that complain about the shower and toilet/basin being situated in separate, small rooms likely haven't traveled in Europe. We had no problem with this, and it's fine with me if the shower doesn't steam up the mirror you need to shave in front of. "

"Our stay was just 2 nights while we visited Boston after coming from Acadia National Park. The hotel is close to a T station where we could use public transportation to get us around the city. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The halls were quiet despite us being right across from an elevator. Service was friendly and fast. The shuttles to and from the airport were easy to use and quick. "

"The desk clerk at check-in was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room request was met a d there were no problems. The room was comfortably and met our needs. The bed was a nit soft for my comfort, but not so much that I couldn't sleep. The toilet tissue was mounted so low that I always ripped off more than needed. With the towel rack mounted in the shower, there was no place to hang the towels while one was showering. The nreakfast selection was a little lacking. All tableware was...

"I wanted a hotel close to the airport so I chose this hotel. What an amazing choice! This place was perfect on so many counts it’s hard to remember all of them. Everyone was wonderful, it was clean, roomy, comfortable and one fantastic perk was that they deliver and pick you up from the restaurant of your choice within a reasonable distance from the hotel. Who does that? Great place!"

"We were here for one night on a very short visit to Boston. The Irving house was perfect. Located very close to all amenities and nice walking sidewalks. Breakfast was rather elegant in a quaint area of the house. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was much bigger than it looked in the pictures. The beds were comfortable. "
