"This property has lovely surroundings, peaceful and calm. Hotel was lovely and clean overlooking the golf course. Staff were friendly & efficient, maybe could benefit from extra bar staff on a weekend from extra flow of traffic from people staying in hotel along with popular golfing groups. Only down side was the pool was broken so not able use which was very disappointing sadly the issue was not fixed from the Thursday -Sunday . Over all a great place to stay . We will definitely visit again ! Thank you to all the staff who looked after us xx "

"Lovely big bedroom with comfortable bed. Our hosts were friendly. A wide choice of breakfast items. The hotel is very conveniently situated for the seafront and South Lowestoft. Parking was easy and free on the street outside However the weather was poor so if more people were at the beach it might have been more difficult. The carpark is tight opposite though and only £4 for the whole day. Our one criticism would be - no shelf in the shower for toiletries. A very pleasant stay. "

"Lovely hotel,but the room was too warm and there was no option to open the window more than 6 inches."

"We checked in to the family room as mentioned but noticed a smell which we initially ignored as we put the luggage down and went out to explore the place. When we returned that evening the smell had got worst so we opened the windows but after a while it became unbearable so we went to reception and informed them. The lady came with me checked it and immediately asked us to pack so we can be moved to a better room which was newer and in very good condition. She ensured we were happy before she left. However we could not find the TV remote in the room but chose not to mention as we were thankful for their service already."

"Apart from the bathroom sink being a tad small and the Ghost Ship Ale not being on till Thursday night, the trip was great. Friendly staff, plenty of breakfast and great for walking the wetlands after work"

"The Ship is in a quiet country lane 2 minutes from a fabulous beach. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was really lovely, the bed so comfortable and ours had a beautiful view across the fields. We had dinner which was delicious too. A really peaceful place to stay."
