Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. "We traveled with two kids under four, my spouse, and her parents. The apartment had tons of space and a nice patio as well. This cottage is literally built within the wall of the castle grounds. The very windows you look out to see the ocean and the sheep are built right into the wall. The walk around the property is fantastic. "Lovely! The best word to describe the cottage and location. The parking area was very close and handy as roads are narrow in villages. Cottage had everything we needed and so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!"

"A lovely property with a stunning view! All sorts of experiences from 30 minutes to 2 hours away. We enjoyed golf, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Saint Andrews, Dunnottar Castle and more. Fully equipped kitchen made at home meals easy with grocery nearby. Outdoor fire pit was warm and welcoming at night. Gordon is a gracious and helpful host … the his “pet” pheasant very cool to see so close up! Highly recommend this rental to all."

"My husband and I stayed two nights at this sweet oasis while we toured the sites of Edinburgh, Stirling Castle and Falkland Palace. Dawn provided nice quality toiletries, a well-stocked kitchen, excellent hot water pressure, and a very comfortable bed. "We wanted to take our parents back to an area we love with fond memories and that of course was Fife. We needed a cottage big enough for four, spacious and all the essentials. Sleeping six, we found it in Kilconquhar, a short throw from Elie, Anstruther, even St Andrews and yet peaceful enough to sit on a night and read a book. Two bathrooms/toilets, a dining area more than adequate and of course a big enough kitchen to practice ones favourite pastime! What was there not to like?"

"The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On...

"After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"
