"Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."

"1st - no dishes, silverware or cookware is included with your kitchenette. The property does have some they'll sell you. Housekeeping is only every 4th day, including trash removal. That being said, the room layout was excellent, none of that wasted space that drives you crazy when you can't turn around in the bathroom. "We had an unexpected stop due to car issues late at night, and Kathy at the check in desk was wonderful. Kind, welcoming, and even later checked to make sure we had enough towels. Gave us recommendations on where to eat later at night. We just passed through so didn’t get to utilize any of the amenities. A bit older with drop ceiling in rooms, but clean and very convenient."
