"Very quaint little cottage near Tawas and public beach. Close to good restaurants. We had a peaceful stay."

"Super cute place, lots of room, kitchen was nice, outside area was great. Close walk to a great beach."

"Perfect cottage for a weekend getaway with an amazing host! Great spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee while watching the deer stroll through the woods. Take a few steps from the cottage on your on the lake for a magnificent sunrise to start your day. Had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back for more!"

"nice place but they need to have a antenna handy when cable is out we had no services there at least with an antenna we could maybe get a channel or two for some news"

"We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect size for our family of 7! The kids loved the bunk room and toys, the walk to the beach was quick and the beach was quiet and clean. The house had everything we needed for the perfect up north getaway!"

"What’s great place to stay!! Will stay there next time!!!"

"Host always responded to messages although we couldn't always fix the issue. Interior was clean but could use some maintenance, wobbly furniture, chipping paint, loose trim. Quaint and simple-everything is mismatch- no two forks or spoons or cups were the same. There were games in the closet and plenty of towels and pillows. Would have been nice to have some basic cleaning rags and spray. Plenty of outdoor seating and beach toys, but also cans and spent firework trash was on the property."

"Location, location, location. Wonderful walks on the beach during the day, stars galore at night. Interior very clean and accomodating. A little detail to exterior needed, prompting the less than 5 stars. Only expect a little more because of pricing."

"The cabin was very nice and clean. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working and we didn’t get any prior notice. That was a bit disappointing. But overall would stay again"

"Unfortunately we would not return to this house. We loved the proximity to beach and the lake view from the upstairs bedroom, and appreciated the upstairs AC unit. That was about all we were able to enjoy… the place was very dirty, dishes weren’t clean, throw blankets were not washed and had awful smells. Shower was small with no soap, shampoo, etc. There were SO many bugs both outside and inside, which I’m sure is just a seasonal May thing and not the property owner’s fault. However, there were...

"I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. For most floors this really isn't a big deal, but it's basically like ice. I only point this out because I do not want someone to actually get hurt without at least a bit of a...

"Everything was nice and quiet had a very nice stay."

"The host was super responsive to any questions or concerns I had. It’s a cute cabin right across from the lake and has easy access to lots of beaches and trails around to hike and take dogs. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Only concerns were that there was no charcoal for the grill and no lighter for fire. And the outside of the home needs a good cleaning. Whole house covered in cobwebs and debris. But it worked for what we needed, a quiet weekend getaway to do some hikes with the dogs."
