"The room smelled. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat, the mirror was filthy, the floor was dirty and sticky, Lighting was poor. The small fridge/freezer was dirty inside and out, very unsanitary. And I can say the same for a friends room that also stayed at this motel for one night. We are supposed to come back in two weeks and my wife and I will be canceling that reservation. What a nightmare. On Monday I will be calling the health department in that city and filing a formal complaint about...

"Booked 2 rooms at this hotel for 3 nights and when we arrived, it was closed down!!! No phone call or email or any notice whatsoever. Prepaid over $500 and have nothing to show for it. We had to book rooms down the street which more than doubled the cost of our trip. I can’t get a response from the hotel and hotels.com is supposed to be ‘looking into it’ but we’re a month past and still nothing! This is simply shameful!"
