"We were looking for hotel the memorial day weekend in the I chose the hotel because of reviews and its price. The price was very reasonable based on the fact that it was memorial day weekend. The experience was excellent. We even got a call a day before our arrival to find out about our arrival to make sure that the room would be ready. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, room was exceptionally clean, and maintained. I would definitely recommend. "

"This house is absolutely stunning. Nestled in the woods, we had a private oasis. A walking trail right from the house and close to the downtown for everything you could need. The fitness room was a perk for me because I like time to workout. Great movie room downstairs. We will absolutely be back for ski season or to hike! Thank you Ryan!"

"We were very very pleased with our stay there! We rented three rooms for next day's eclipse. The rooms were VERY CLEAN and the owner is very thoughtful about the amenities provided. There is a kitchen available to anyone, with real dishware and cookware. It's like your kitchen at home. There is fridge full of eggs and with real half and half. The owner provides enough plastic cups so that someone can grab coffee and go, but really makes an effort to make environmentally friendly choices. The rooms are smaller than with modern motels but we found the space well utilized and comfy. The mattress on our double bed did have a low spot which forced me and my wife together (smiley face here), There was great WIFI too. Highly recommended if you can enjoy an old school motel that has been upgraded with modern TV, wifi etc."

"What a Special Place!! Stunning view of the river. Exceptionally clean, modern and well-appointed property. Kitchen had the best and most dishes, utensils, appliances and consumable pantry items of any property we’ve stayed at. The home is a model of energy efficiency and thoughtful design. There was even a desk with a large monitor and river view for our remote work, and a 2nd desk in the one bedroom for conference calls. Home has DSL speed internet and an AT&T signal strong enough for 35 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up hotspot. Scott met us to introduce us to the property and show us around the place that he is deservedly proud of. Excellent communication and the few questions/concerns we had were immediately addressed. We were here for a working ski week - Sunday River was a 15 minute drive with ample mid-week parking close to the lodge. But, we we’re just as happy returning to this property because it was so serene and beautiful! We'll definitely be returning."

"Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would return! A few notes: There seemed to be a small bug problem. I'm not sure if the house hadn't been in use in a while. There were a few dead flies when we arrived, and several I noticed in the lamp next to the bed, as well as in the door to the porch. There were a ton of ladybugs and a few ants (I think I saw 4 or 5 different ones in the bathroom on the first floor by the bedroom). I wish we had known the heat was down so far. Unfortunately, we were traveling a bit of a distance and didn't arrive until after 9pm and it took so long to warm up the house that we all had trouble sleeping that first night. It would be great to get some kleenex for the house and I'm not sure if the ice maker was broken or we just couldn't figure out how to make it dispense ice. The water pressure was disappointing. Oh, the mattress on the top floor (the king) was really uncomfortable so that was also a bummer. There was a slightly musty smell but I am very sensitive to odors and I'm not sure it would bother most people. As I mentioned above, we did enjoy our stay and would return! The house was well appointed (more big coffee mugs would be great though!), cozy, and well-decorated. Good games, lots of cute touches. My son loved the basketball game."

"This home was more beautiful than advertised. It was clean and well equipped. We loved every moment. I would highly recommend the property. It's not far from Sunday River and close to Bethel. We spent the weekend skiing and this was very convenient to everything."
