Cottages in East Riding of Yorkshire

"We have stayed here for two consecutive years. It’s a good-sized property, well-maintained, and generally clean but there were dog hairs on one of the sofas and it definitely smells more like dog I. 2024 (on the ground floor only - the upstairs is immaculate) than it did in 2023. I would suggest the property is either deep-cleaned and better aired/odor neutralized after every stay OR only advertised to dog owners. "Apartment 4, Sir Nigel Gresley. Overall a good stay. Listed as first floor but was second floor. Four flights of stairs bit of a struggle for four over 60s with suitcases. Also en suite shower a definite no. High step and getting out no hand holds. Couldn't use it. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. Sofas too low and only two chairs for the dining table. Central location. Probably wouldn't use again due to mobility issues."

"Amazing property for multiple adults. Good space and the hot tub was so refreshing and warm. The check-in and out times on VRBO were different to agreed time from communication from property manager, but it made little difference for us. Property manager was very friendly and we even got to see the local bird life at our door each morning!"
