"Excellent property, incredible views, nice decks to relax on, and just a beautiful surrounding! We had everything we needed! Close to Quoddy Head, lots of hiking, we even drove out to the sand bar at low tide to watch people clamming! Bed was so comfortable, overall 5 stars and we would rent again! "The lodge is in the middle of nowhere. If you like that kind of thing, you will love it. Food is a long way away so eat before you go in or carry some groceries with you. You can use the kitchen. "

"This house is the perfect place to stay in Maine. Situated by the lake on a quiet road, it is beautiful and peaceful. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. My kids said it felt like a "home away from home" and I agree. The game room was perfect for my boys. My daughters loved the reading nook upstairs. One of my favorite spots was the covered porch that overlooks the yard towards the lake. I would probably have spent more time just sitting on that porch (I did take a couple of naps out there) if I had more time. The yard is beautifully laid out - a firepit to one side of the nicely mown grass with a path leading to the lake. The trees and native plants growing around the yard are simply beautiful. This property is private and peaceful. We went kayaking and made s'mores in the firepit. We visited Acadia a couple of days, but my kids absolutely loved the closer, quieter Jasper Beach. We went at low tide - this rock beach has an incredible variety of gorgeous rocks that my kids enjoyed discovering, and they even took lots of pictures of the rocks to remember. It was a foggy, overcast evening, which added to the charm. Communication with the host, Lucas, was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return."

"We had a fantastic stay! The house was clean, quiet and comfortable and waking up to a fresh sea breeze every morning was energizing. We went swimming nearly every day and took several area hikes. We also loved the proximity to Canada, and did a day trip to Campobello Island. Our only complaint: We couldn't stay longer! We can't wait to come back."
