THE SPACE
This elegant five-bedroom semi-detached family home, situated on the desirable eastern side of East Grinstead, spans three floors, providing versatile accommodation for the entire family. The interior features a spacious entrance hall leading to a contemporary downstairs bathroom. The hall opens to a generously sized lounge at the rear, illuminated by patio doors spanning the width of the room. The modern kitchen, equipped with integrated appliances and a stylish kitchen island, creates an ideal space for hosting and entertaining. The ground floor also hosts two large and comfortable double bedrooms.
The first floor encompasses two large double bedrooms, along with a modern shower room featuring a walk-in shower.
The second floor boasts a beautiful double-aspect master bedroom with captivating views to the front and a particularly modern en-suite with a corner shower unit.
Externally, the property offers an expansive rear garden with a lawn and patio area, complemented by private front parking.

Very disappointing

Although the property is impressive inside with good size rooms and an extensive shared area. Our weekend break was ruined by a number of issues. Firstly, we had to contact both the host and VRBO for access information 3 hours before we were due to check in. On the first night, we saw mice on the kitchen, which caused us to constantly disinfect all surfaces and stop our 20 month grandson playing on the floor. On the second night, we were awoken by a very loud party next door, at another rental property, which started at 12.00 midnight. When we informed the host of the issues, they were apologetic but had to be persuaded to offer any recompense for the issues. Eventually, a token amount was given. We would not stay there again.

A great house, very comfortable. Great quality. Needed more of a hoover and one wasn’t available for us to keep on top of this throughout our stay but otherwise very good.

Lovely house and great location

The house is a great space, with a large social area and beautiful light spaces. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are lovely. The area is lovely and rural but close enough to east grinstead. Lots to do nearby with kids. The doors to the bedrooms all have individual automatic locks which I can see is beneficial when renting out individual rooms but as we had the whole house it would have been better to have them unlocked. When we checked in the water was off, it wasn't fully clean with spaces under the sofas still dusty and some balloons and shoes left out. Someone did come round quickly to sort out the water. The smoke alarm also was cheeping which was frustrating. It would have been helpful to have had access to a hoover, sieve/colander. But lovely place and we would stay again.
