"This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. Lovely staff, comfortable bed and beautiful common areas. The rooms were small, but beautifully designed with all the mod cons (blinds and light auto-adjusted as I walked in) and lovely little touches like the tea pot and chocolates. Walking distance to train station. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again"

"Hotel easy to get to near tram line to the beach end of town. Breakfast in house on last day was very good. Easy location in area partly gentrified, great to see more older buildings being repurposed. History of hotel as ex DJ’s store interesting. Friendly staff and lovely bar on rooftop for our large group gathering on first evening there. Thank you all."
