I didn't really spend time in East Dubuque... Was there to visit Galena, IL. This was the only hotel available close to Galena. Now I understand why... Next time I'll stay in Dubuque or the other side of Galena...

"As a place to lay your head & be a tourist in Galena & Dubuque it is very conveniently located off Rte 20. Clean & nice, I wouldn’t say it is 5 star, but worth every penny & the fact that Timmerman’s Super Cub is right across the parking lot was really nice. I’d definitely stay again."

Good food at Timmermans Restaurant,view, close to Galena and access to everything. Plus the museum in Dubuque was great.
