"The location was great, the staff too, the room was ok, a lot of mosquitos and bugs inside, I also paid for a nice room and got an old one, not the ones that they show on the pictures. The terrace you can’t use it because it’s so bushy outside. Anyway, the stay was fair"

"Amazing views with wildlife at our door. Small touches like heated floors in the bathroom, binoculars and a telescope in our room, added to the luxurious feel of the cabin style accommodation."

"Great location and great accomodation perfect for our time in Cole’s bay and right across from the beach and near the grocer, cafe and tavern. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent stay. Restaurant walking distance Seaview spa walking distance Beach was great for kids"

"Superb location on the beach. There is a store/couple of restaurants nearby. Lovely staff. There was a fridge, coffee, milk and dishes. I wish the rooms had a bit more soundproofing."

"Great location, cute shack and super friendly staff highly recommend"

"Staff were fantastic, at reception and in the lounge/ bar area. The deck area would be great in Summer but it was raining when we were there but still so much room. Excellent place to stay."

"The direct view of the bay from our couch was fabulous! Lovely beach. We loved this place!"

"Comfortable one bedroom cottage with great kitchen, laundry facilities very close to the beach and Port Arthur historic site. Has a restaurant on site - lots of people eating there but we only had a drink. Great place to stay."

"The room was clean and spacious. The view was breathtaking and the walking areas were stunning for nature lovers like me. I his would be the best comfortable stay in Bicheno that you can get The bed was slightly uncomfortable in terms of the price we paid . The advertised penguin viewing is underwhelming and the best viewing areas were cordoned off in the evening leading to 5-6 penguins maximum available for viewing. Ideally , this should be open for resort guests as this is too close to the...

"Ich habe selten in so einem einzigartigen und coolen Zimmer geschlafen, es war perfekt. Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich, wirklich toll. Ich hatte sogar eine kleine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer und Milch im Kühlschrank. Diese Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert."

"Great view. Recent update"

"Beautiful heritage cottages very friendly staff. Shower needs more water pressure and beds could do with an upgrade."

"Great location and layout, fire pit and bbq a nice touch if you want to be social. Everyone v respectful of being quiet so made for peaceful spot. No reception over weekend but did respond quickly when I emailed and there is a number to call. Please get new bedside lamps! They are rechargeable but run out fast and are too low and dim to use for reading in bed, which was a shame. No face cloths, might have been an oversight so improvised as not worth troubling a remote reception as presumed...

"The stand out for us was the super friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again based on that alone."

"We are giving this small-town motor inn a five star out of five simply because it has an inner soul that made us feel at home despite its ageing condition. We felt positive vibes because of the relaxed and laidback atmosphere, the delicious hot meal of lamb shanks and chicken curry and the friendly and warm staff especially Stephanie who is very attending and caring. The room attendants and our waitress who served us a sumptuous dinner are equally lovable people with a good sense of community...

"Horrible service, no help at all"
