"this hotel has been around for many years and is definitely a bit tired. The lobby is extremely small and could use sprucing up in some expansion. The elevators need a pass to go to the floor, which I totally agree with but that sad there is no or appears to be no freight elevator for staff to use as a result you have staff doing functions and guests trying to get to their room. Nothing wrong with the hotel. It just needs some renovation. Location wise cannot beat it. It’s in a fabulous location and very convenient to everything."

"Stayed 4 nights at this hotel during our visit in Chicago. I have traveled a decent bit and this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The hotel was updated and very clean. Customer service from all of the staff was excellent. The room had a great view and nice window bench. Very close to the riverwalk and centrally located to most things. Would definitely stay here again!"

"My sister and I went on a trip to Chicago for 3 days. Our stay was quite nice. Everythin went as planned. The price of the room with all the extras was exceptional. We are treated to a beautiful breakfast every morning. Each of us got a free drink each night and we got a dinner credit for each night. We went to the Sky lounge which is just lovely and had our drinks and some really good bar food. The bartender Cade was so nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our time. Our was a little worn and dated, but it was comfortable and clean and quiet..,"

"Location couldn’t have been better. Heart of downtown. Front desk receptionist very helpful and kept our luggage until check-in. Have a nice coffee machine with free drinks on the second floor. However, found random hairs and hairpin in bathroom. Room is very basic and on the small side. Beds were comfortable. All in all I liked the hotel, more for the location than the accommodations."
