"The hex wildlife hotel was fantastic and when twined with the wildlife park that we could see out of our bedroom suit made a fabulous end to a most memorable break Although all of the restaurants and reception were in seperate buildings it didnt impact our stay at all and the staff were excellent but the real joy of this sight is the park and the vast array of animals and our trip was made extra special with a meet and greet with the rhinos which was exceptional The room was superb with all the space and facilities you need and a view over the park from our outside balcony with bush dogs and sea lions moving around made it a real treat to look out on "

"Lovely hotel, have stayed before now needs a bit of paint here and there and shower head needs replacing in room 314, but have to say it’s just a bit of maintenance required nothing else "

"Reception staff were a delight; provided comprehensive overview of hotel and facilities on arrival; very welcoming too; nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Bar staff amiable and efficient. Room upgraded at no cost which was a welcome surprise. A comfortable nights sleep was experienced in a clean well maintained room. Will definately stay here again. "Overnight stop en route from London to Keswick. We were made very welcome by reception and the room was warm, clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The evening meal was pricey for what was basically a bar meal, but the quality was high. We would have welcomed a "Senior's Portion" as we felt unable to tackle the attractive dessert menu. In the morning, a hot shower and a excellent hearty breakfast set us on our way."
