Enjoy elevated water views of the open ocean, Linekin Bay, and two lighthouses from this classic Ocean Point cottage. The ocean views cannot be beat as you enjoy them straight from the large, open living area. The wood-burning fireplace will keep you warm on those cooler nights, and you'll still be able to hear the sound of the crashing waves while you play board games or read one of the provided books. There is also a full kitchen for easy meal preparation, a furnished patio with a gas grill, and plenty of space for dining and relaxing indoors and outdoors.

Located right on the water, you may never want to leave this home's gorgeous vistas, but if you venture out, you'll find the Ocean Point Preserve just a half-mile away. The town center is less than four miles away, where you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

THINGS TO KNOW
The home has been upgraded with additional heat pumps which provide cooling and heating throughout the entire cottage.
During the off-season (Nov 2023 - April 2024) this property will undergo renovations affecting the twin bedroom.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

What a nice home to use for vacation . It has everything you need and sits on a perch with a million dollar view . If you want an authentic Maine cottage feel then look no further . We will visit again .

I stayed at Spruce Ledge with 3 other women for two nights. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. There were high end toiletries, 3 beautiful bathrooms, a gorgeous view and close by restaurants. We also enjoyed a harbor cruise and the botanical gardens in Boothbay!

Ocean Point is very special. We have visited often over the years. This home accommodated the 7 of us well.-3 couples and 1 toddler. Loved the updated kitchen and bathrooms. Like having 2 king size beds and great reading lights. Beautiful water view. Main room could use new furniture-a minor issue.

The charming cottage accommodated 8 adults and 2 dogs quite comfortably. The view are outstanding and the porch was a great place to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked and most of the beds were comfortable. The only downfall was the living room furniture needs to be updated. Not very comfortable. Would book again for the future.

We liked a house a lot. Nights were wonderful while we could keep windows open and listen the waves. We had a dog with us but could not find any dishes for him in a house. Also house rules, tv instructions were gone. Some towels were dirty. Otherwise we have wonderful time!

The location is absolutely beautiful but the house itself is very dark and kitchen really needs updating. Air conditioner only in one bedroom and it was a floor model that exhausted through a plexiglass window that almost blew out during a windy night. They did come and duck tape it back in the next day..

This house was older and had not been remodeled in the main areas of the house. But the bathrooms had been updated and it was just a homey little house. Every window you could see the ocean. Was walking distance from a great restaurant too. Would love to stay there again.

Good Location but problems with the house included: Safety Issues: 1. Only one door opens. 2. Propane Line attached to outdoor foundation about 1’ above ground. 3. Windows don’t lock. In fact ground floor window is held in place with duck tape. Pictures of interior on web site are misleading. Large power and cable lines (5) are right outside all ocean facing windows. Furniture is uncomfortable and not accurately pictured. Beds are old and uncomfortable plus jammed into bedrooms. New bathrooms looked nice and had good water pressure. Trouble being the shower head holder fell off in two bathrooms and hit us each on the foot plus the shower head fell and hit us in the head. Very Disappointed

The location of this amazing rental is not to be believed. From the deck, livingroom and sunroom you feel as though you are on a deck of a boat. The harbor extends out as far as you can see, each room with a better view than the last. If you want sallty Maine cabin, this is the rental for you. We felt very welcome and embraced by the hosts.

This was a family gathering to celebrate the 80th birthday of the family patriarch, and it couldn't have been a more perfect place to gather. The kitchen and outside grill was ideal for preparing eat-in meals. The view is gorgeous. Being outside of Boothbay Harbor and its flock of tourists was also a big plus. Highly recommend.

The house is perfectly situated overlooking the bay and islands- so peaceful! There are few cars and it's great to stroll along the coast enjoying the sea breeze and views. The house is set up for large gatherings and worked well for us, though it is a bit dated- but our large family so enjoyed spending time together here. We'd come back again.

Lots of room downstairs. Bathrooms have been totally renovated and made modern. View of the bay is spectacular. Location is close to town. Bedrooms are smaller than pictures would lead you to believe. Carpet is old & dirty. Refrigerator would not close. No lamps in any of the bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay.

This rental is in an outstanding location and the view from the deck is amazing. The property was clean and we had an enjoyable stay. A minor negative: the bedrooms are smaller than the photos show (some sort of fancy lens?) and the house is older. Most plugs are two prong. A more annoying negative: We could not get into the house. Vacasa would not help us (despite being at the address, calling from the phone number they had, and knowing the lock box combo) until we finally managed to dig out a reservation number we have never needed. (All they had to do was tell us there was a 2nd lock box on another door!) This is why we try to rent from individual owners and not big conglomerates! Will avoid renting a place managed by Vacasa again.

Spruce Ledge is a large house with a spectacular view in Ocean Point, Maine. Our family of seven loved it. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, living room, porch, dining room, kitchen and deck, we had plenty of room.
