Holiday Inn Express Grand Island - Niagara Falls by IHG

"Traveled to Grand Island with my BF and stayed here. When we first arrived we went into our room and our ac unit was making a god awful noise. We asked to switch rooms and that wasn’t an option because we did want a room with a porch. The front desk clerk reached out to maintenance man Kevin and Kevin came and actually changed the entire ac motor system and fixed the issue. We were incredibly grateful for that. Not to mention the front desk clerk (so sorry i didn’t catch his name unfortunately) was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. There was only a couple things that I wouldn’t rate 5 stars. 1- the trash cans were over flowing on the side entrance the entire two night stay as well as there was trash laying out on the lawn that went untouched all 3 days. The free breakfast was great I was very impressed with the food quality for being a free breakfast. I loved that they had the coffee/tea/ hot cocoa machine available 24/7. We didn’t utilize the pool but I did walk down and check it out and it looked very nice. Nice and clean. I would say the only other thing I could say was not 5 stars was the cleanliness of the porch. It definitely could have used a good sweeping and table wipe down. Other than that we had a wonderful stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable trip! 9/10 would definitely recommend and would definitely stay with them again for any future trips!! Thank you to the Holiday Inn Express staff for being so welcoming and hospitable!!"

"It is a good hotel at a reasonable price. I understand they have and are undergoing some renovations. You can still see the 1970s era features within it. Despite its vintage, it is very clean, quiet, easily accessible, and reasonably priced."
