"It is a tiny, but wonderful, cottage. It is so homely and ‘liveable’ and the owner, Katie, has obviously tried to provide everything you might need to enjoy a comfortable stay. "This Location worked very well for us with plenty of room and plenty of bedrooms. The bungalow was more spacious on the inside than it looks from the outside. There was a container in the kitchen that said T but there was no tea in it and no shampoo body wash or anything of that nature in the bathrooms which would’ve been helpful for our guests if they had been provided"

"We had a really nice little break as a family, but there were a few things that were a little disappointing given the fact the house appeared on paper to be high end. We arrived with excited kids to find the hot tub was not switched on, so this took 24 hours to heat. A real shame when you only have a short break. There were no complimentary logs for the log burner as promised, and only one bin liner for the bins. So first thing to do was a shop! There were caddies for tea, coffee, sugar, salt...

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."

"Perfect house for get together with large bedrooms 5 of which are en-suite and many with single beds which makes for great flexibility depending on the make up of your group. Large group spaces in kitchen and living room with a great conservatory too. Also on direct bus route to Derby and area. Everything a large group could want. Owners live next door and we’re very welcoming and helpful."

"The place was cute, and the neighbor was very kind, he came out to talk to us when we were trying to figure out parking the first night. The drive isn’t big enough for any car larger than a Mini, but there’s ample space for parking on the curb. The only real downside was the amount of bugs within the property. Any corner that was looked at held spiders of considerable size. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who’s as sensitive to those things as I am. We sat on the back porch the first night...
