“Huckle Chuckle” is the perfect cottage for a large family vacation. It is a short 10 minute walk to the private beach and to our quaint village stores. With our classic cottage furniture spread throughout the cottage you will find yourself wanting to sit in every corner as each room has its own unique experience. This amazingly well-preserved historic cottage's most special attribute is it's large, lovely porch, with comfortable seating, where you can enjoy company and family.
The 3rd floor bedrooms are a fun adventure for the kids to sleep and play. Fancy a round of croquet, badminton, or frisbee golf? Our big yards are the perfect place for it!

The edge of the spacious property sits feet from our pristine and private Eagles Mere Lake and access to the communities beautiful path around the lake called the Laurel Path.

Coffee your mornings away on our huge and sumptuous covered porch facing the lake while birdsong inspires your morning. That’s where you surely will want to lounge around late in the day, too, sharing a craft beer with someone special and making memories that will last a lifetime.
If you’re interested in golf or pickle ball you can obtain a visitor’s membership to the Eagles Mere Country Club. There is a lovely restaurant in the club as well as some outside dining in the summer on the porch and by the fire pit. Please visit their website: eaglesmerecc.com for information.

There are plenty of other activities for all ages in our private lake community & some call Eagles Mere an “adult summer camp”. Because the lake is a private lake, all guests must registerwith Eagles Mere Association and pay for a temporary membership at least 3 days prior to your arrival date.
