"If anyone in your party has mobility issues this property has stairs and upper and lower levels. Be careful of low ceilings in lower and upper level bedrooms are sloped ceilings. This property is very well stocked except no hair dryer. If you are able bodied it's a very nice place to stay. Thanks"

"This is an older cabin and has its quirks, however it is spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied. It's an easy walk to Girdwood Brewing or the Alyeska resort. Would definitely stay again."

"Spacious house with the most comfortable beds we had on our journey! This house has so much character built into it and the decor was woodsy and charming. My daughter especially loved the windows and the spiral staircase. Also enjoyed feeding peanuts to the stellar blues out on the patio. Close to Alyeska and restaurants in Girdwood. Definitely recommend!"

"This home was perfect for our family! The house was spotless, included all the amenities of home, beds were super comfy and linens and towels high quality. This was the perfect location for us...and that view, so incredible. We really felt at home and could have stayed another week or two! The owners, Sara and Daniel, were super responsive and made check-in and check-out so easy. Would highly recommend this property."

"The Artist's retreat was a delightful place. It felt like we had stepped into the comfort of grandma's house. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. The kitchen had plenty of accessories for us to cook meals. We enjoyedbthe collection of books, the pianobwith tons of sheet music and the nostalgia of the VHS player and tapes. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided everything we asked for and assisted immediately when i had trouble accessing the property at check in."
