It's probably not for everyone, but way up high in the mountains above Taos, new Mexico is a little ghost town that also housed a Serial Killer back in the late 1800's. The remains of this place are creepy as they are juxtaposed against beautiful mountain scenery. if you are looking for one amazing drive through Northern New Mexico to an off the beaten place with history of the Old West, Elizabethtown has it! #colorful

"We have stayed in this community previously and love the area. Overall we just felt this cabin was not cleaned well. I know they have a cleaning person, but there were dirty walls, stained carpet that smelled of animal urine, dirty wood floors, the bed smelled like someone had slept in it and they hadnt washed the sheets. "We absolutely loved this tiny home. It was the perfect homebase for our ski adventure in Taos. The house provided plenty of space for what we needed as a family of 4 (including 2 teenage boys). The owners went above and beyond providing everything we needed during our stay. We were thankful to have a 4 wheel drive because the driveway was a dirt road, but it wasn’t anything the 4 wheel drive couldn’t handle. We highly recommend this cozy home!"
