"Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. "On our second day we left at approx 8am to see the town. We returned approx 5pm and our room was not cleaned; ok we don't care about the bed and we're clean people anyway but our wet towels were still i the bath tub. We reported it, no clean towels...great thing is, the pool provides towels so we just took a bunch from their. We get that people gets busy but we reported it at 5pm then again at 9pm...luckily the pool closes at 9. Sure hang things to dry; the BR has 1 hanger so when you add swim suits your pretty limited on what you can hang up to dry. All in all great stay but service is poor."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Green Mountain Suites. I had a king suite which included a small kitchen. The rooms were spacious with a large sitting area. The room was clean, the check in staff was friendly. The included Breakfast was quite ample and the hotel allowed an outside guest to eat for free."

"My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel Vermont. From the moment we arrived, Anna and Grayson at the front desk made us feel welcome. They were incredibly friendly and shared great local tips and recommendations that helped us make the most of our visit. The hotel has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. We especially enjoyed Wednesday night’s live jazz in the lobby—it was a fantastic touch that added to the overall experience. One of our favorite amenities was having complimentary coffee, tea, and water available on our floor, which was so convenient. We also loved that the hotel offers e-bikes storage for guests. We took advantage of it and had an amazing ride along the bike Recreation Path, all the way toward South Hero and back. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Overall, HV exceeded our expectations. The exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made for a memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Burlington."

"This was a great location! Everything was exactly as listed/described, no surprises. Very clean, host has great communication. Parking in the driveway was a plus! Easy walk to waterfront and downtown. Nice little touches from the host with snacks and drinks available. Very interesting city with a lot of history...would definitely stay here again!"

"The room was clean and comfortable and we had a nice view of the lake. The hotel was in the middle of a conversion to a different name, so some signage was confusing and some amenities were not available, but to be fair that’s temporary. Location is convenient to Church Street and the waterfront."
